Who this app is for
This app is only for parents and guardians aged 18 and above. It is not directed at children and is not a children’s app. A child should not create an account or use the app. You use it to view school updates for a student that your school has linked to your mobile number.
Information we collect
- Mobile number, to sign you in with OTP and match students the school has linked to that number.
- Student records the school already keeps and shares with you: name, class, section, attendance, fees, exam schedule, results, notices, and school contact details.
- Device notification token, so attendance alerts can reach this phone.
- App activity needed to run the service (for example crash/performance signals through Google Firebase).
- Advertising ID and ad interaction data, used by Google AdMob to show ads.
We do not ask children for information inside this app.
Student and children’s education data
Academic records belong to the school. The school is the source of student data. We only display records the school has authorised for the parent mobile number. We do not sell this data. If a record is wrong, contact the school administrator. Unlinking a mobile number from a student is done by the school.
How we use information
We use this information to verify your login, show linked student records, send attendance alerts you allow, keep a short on-device cache so the app works faster, improve reliability, and show ads that help cover server cost. We do not use student records to sell products to children.
Who we share information with
- Your school, which already holds the academic records.
- Google Firebase (Authentication, Realtime Database, Cloud Messaging, Analytics) to run login, data, alerts, and basic app analytics.
- Google AdMob and Google advertising services, which may receive the advertising ID to serve ads.
- Google Play services on the device.
We do not sell personal information. Service providers process data only to provide these services.
Ads
The app shows banner and in-feed ads after you sign in. Ads are not shown on the login or PIN screens. Ads may be personalised using your advertising ID. You can reset or limit the advertising ID in Android settings. This app is not enrolled as a children’s / Designed for Families app.
Notifications
If you allow notifications, we can alert you when attendance is marked. You can turn notifications off in Android settings. We do not send marketing SMS.
Data stored on this phone
A short local cache is stored so screens open faster offline. Cache and login extras are cleared when you log out or delete your account. Android Auto Backup for this app is turned off so student records are not copied to another device through backup.
How long we keep data
Your Firebase login exists until you delete the account. Notification tokens are removed when you log out or delete the account. School academic records stay with the school for as long as the school keeps them. On-device cache is removed on logout, account deletion, or when you uninstall the app.
Delete your account
If you created a login with OTP, you can delete that account.
In the app: open the menu (⋮) → Delete account. This removes your Firebase login from this app, clears the on-device cache, and removes this phone’s notification token.
It does not erase the school’s official attendance, fees, or exam registers. Ask the school if you want your mobile number unlinked from a student profile.
Your choices (including India DPDP)
By signing in with OTP you agree that we process your mobile number and show school records linked to it, to provide this service. You can log out, change the school pin, refuse notifications, limit ads in Android settings, or delete your account. For correction or unlinking of student records, contact the school. This notice is meant to meet the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 for this parent app.
Security
Login uses Google Firebase phone authentication. Access to student records depends on the school linking your number. No method is 100% secure. Use a phone only you control.
Changes
If this policy changes in a material way, we will update the date above and the in-app policy. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
Contact
For this app: use the in-app menu → Delete account to remove your login, or My School to contact the school. For student-record questions, contact your school administrator. The school controls academic data.

Terms of use
The app is provided to help parents view school information. The school is responsible for the accuracy of attendance, fees, exams, and notices. Ads help operate the service. Do not misuse the app, attempt to access another family’s records, or allow a child to use it as their own app. We may suspend access if the school unlinks your number or if the service is misused. The app is provided as-is; we are not liable for school data errors or missed alerts if notifications are off or the device has no network.
